Tamed Wild Seasonal Box #2

Image
I just realized #3 will be on the way soon and I hadn't said anything about #2! I was as impressed with the second box as I was with the first! Since I have already put it away I will just mention a few of my favorite things from it!  First off, I loved the seasonal journal again! So much great stuff in it!  Then there was this adorable set of mini gemstone carvings! The aventurine (I think) mushroom was my favorite, the shapes are standard, but the gemstone is random.  I love succulents and was happy with the Hen and Chicks plant which is one of my favorites!  I loved how adorable it was when I transplanted it into the pot and put it in the macrame hanger that were included with the box!  I know I have mentioned before how much I love the Tamed Wild card decks and this was no exception. Sure like a lot of them, this could be put into book form, but it is just cooler as a card deck, imo. This box included the Wild Moon deck! It contains 28 cards, one for ...

Tamed Wild's first seasonal box finally arrived!

It was worth the wait!  Above are the small spells cards along with a bag for them! So cute! Just quick little spells that don't require much effort. I also really like the artwork on the cards, each one is different. Probably my favorite item from this box!  The above photo shows the workbook, which I will talk more about later in this post. Botanical hair rinse (calendula, rose and jasmine), the herb jar is comfrey (great for making ointments) and the little envelope contains beads for a pagan mala. I am not sure what the beads are made from, not plastic, seems like stone or glass. Too tiny for me and my old eyes, but I will make a mala with some larger beads I have and use the tassel. The jasmine and neroli soy candle and the jasmine body oil smell divine! Also, included an empty bottle for making your own potions!  Moonstone pillar and a sunstone! The pillar is a good size, about 4.5 inches and I had been wanting a moonstone pillar for months! I love sunstone t...

The last Tamed Wild monthly box

Image
Since this is the last monthly box before they start the seasonal ones I decided to review it and then I can compare it with the seasonal to figure out if I am still getting 3 months worth of stuff! lol!  The box was different this month and larger so I assume it is the size they will be using for the seasonal boxes.  At the top of the box, like every month was the ritual cards. They give you a ritual to do with the items and also tell you about the items. I rarely do the ritual, but I use the items in my own rituals. I also save all my ritual cards for future reference.  The next thing in the box was the flower book! I LOVE Tamed Wild's little booklets and I think I have almost all them! Thankfully, I did not have this one yet. There are about 30 different flowers in it, it tells you uses for them, symbolism and gives a little ritual you can do with them. It also have lovely illustrations and 3 pages for notes!  Then there was a cool pin back alchemy/potion b...

Changes coming to Tamed Wild

Image
Tamed Wild is switching monthly subscription boxes to quarterly. I am kind of sad about this because I look forward to my box each month. There are good things about this change though! Like you will get 3 months worth of items for only $56, right now the monthly boxes are $28 so it is like getting a free month 4 times per year!  One new thing that will be included each quarter is a seasonal workbook.  It looks pretty cool, although, I already have a 2023 planner that is very similar from what I can tell. You also still get a monthly ritual (x 3) and all the items needed to perform them. I assume that "Small Spells" deck will be included in the first quarterly shipment at the end of April since they included the photo along with the workbook in their email.  I will still miss getting my monthly box, but I imagine I will look forward to a quarterly box packed with 3 months worth of stuff even more!
