The last Tamed Wild monthly box

 

Since this is the last monthly box before they start the seasonal ones I decided to review it and then I can compare it with the seasonal to figure out if I am still getting 3 months worth of stuff! lol! 

The box was different this month and larger so I assume it is the size they will be using for the seasonal boxes. 

At the top of the box, like every month was the ritual cards. They give you a ritual to do with the items and also tell you about the items. I rarely do the ritual, but I use the items in my own rituals. I also save all my ritual cards for future reference. 

The next thing in the box was the flower book! I LOVE Tamed Wild's little booklets and I think I have almost all them! Thankfully, I did not have this one yet. There are about 30 different flowers in it, it tells you uses for them, symbolism and gives a little ritual you can do with them. It also have lovely illustrations and 3 pages for notes! 

Then there was a cool pin back alchemy/potion bottle. I have a lot of the TW pin backs and I believe I do already have this one, but it is ok because I can use two. I like putting them on jackets, bags and hats. 

I knew this bag was coming and I was anxious to find out if it was fabric or plastic. Thankfully, it is fabric and I totally love it! It is quite large. I didn't measure, but will guess about 18" x 12". This is the type of bag I would take to a festival or gem show, room for my phone and keys with lots of extra room for purchases! 

The last two items were a jar of dried roses and a leaf charm and chain. Dried roses I use quite often, so even though I have some I can always use more. The necklace isn't really my style, it is very dainty, but possibly I might use the leaf on my charm necklace sometime. 

There was supposed to be one more item, a crystal. There was no crystal in the box. I am deciding whether to email about that. I don't need the crystal, I have an entire box of crystals, but maybe I could help to prevent this from happening in the future. Although, I have been a TW box monthly subscriber for 2 years and this is the first time my box has been missing an item. 

Aside from the ritual cards the box was supposed to contain 6 items. On a scale from 1-6, I will take off a point for the missing crystal and also 1/2 point because I didn't really like the leaf charm, giving this box a 4.5. 

And doing a quick calculation, I paid $20 for the box and $8 shipping. The bag is $15 on the site, booklets are $6 and pin backs are $6 - 9. Those three items alone are $27, without the shipping cost. I feel I got a good deal even though I wasn't thrilled with the leaf charm and missing a crystal.
