Tamed Wild Seasonal Box

 I found myself irritated by the fact that it is June and I have not yet received the May-July seasonal box, especially because of the dated workbook. I emailed TW just telling them of my irritation, not asking when it was expected or anything and I did receive a nice reply and an explanation of what is going on that I am sharing below.

Thank you for writing in regarding your first seasonal box. I am so sorry your shipping is late. We are working hard to get these out right now. You will receive an automated email with the tracking information as soon as your box ships. USPS may take 24-72 hours to scan the box into their system, per their tracking guidelines. 
 
We have learned a lot during this transition. First, we understand the workbook is dated beginning May 1st and the boxes are currently shipping past that date. We have learned from your feedback, and for the Fall box that encompasses August, September, and October that we will begin shipping July 1st to avoid this issue. Beginning with our Winter box, the workbook will no longer be dated to avoid any calendar issues but we will continue shipping in the month you are charged. To make this happen we have expanded our team in our warehouse and are partnering with a faster shipping service. 
 
We hear your frustration and we share it. We thought that by shifting to a new seasonal box and away from a monthly box, we could eliminate a lot of the supplier and shipping delays we were experiencing. Unfortunately this first box is having similar issues but we are working hard to ensure this isn't the case with future boxes. We knew there would be some growing pains and we appreciate your kindness while we navigate this new box style. We know that once we get the right systems in place, everything will be back on track.

  In September 2021 I spotted this UFO. I described it at my other blog, Lesley Land, because the photos didn't come out great or look as it did with the naked eye. It seems much further away than it actually was.  The part I didn't describe is how exactly I happened to spot it and it isn't the first time I have happened to spot a UFO in that manner. I was sitting on the front steps, minding my own business and totally into whatever I was doing on my phone at the time when I started to get the feeling that someone was watching me. Tamed Wild Seasonal Box #2

  I just realized #3 will be on the way soon and I hadn't said anything about #2! I was as impressed with the second box as I was with the first! Since I have already put it away I will just mention a few of my favorite things from it!  First off, I loved the seasonal journal again! So much great stuff in it!  Then there was this adorable set of mini gemstone carvings! The aventurine (I think) mushroom was my favorite, the shapes are standard, but the gemstone is random.  I love succulents and was happy with the Hen and Chicks plant which is one of my favorites!  I loved how adorable it was when I transplanted it into the pot and put it in the macrame hanger that were included with the box!  I know I have mentioned before how much I love the Tamed Wild card decks and this was no exception. Sure like a lot of them, this could be put into book form, but it is just cooler as a card deck, imo. This box included the Wild Moon deck! It contains 28 cards, one for each phase of the moon. O

Tamed Wild's first seasonal box finally arrived!

  It was worth the wait!  Above are the small spells cards along with a bag for them! So cute! Just quick little spells that don't require much effort. I also really like the artwork on the cards, each one is different. Probably my favorite item from this box!  The above photo shows the workbook, which I will talk more about later in this post. Botanical hair rinse (calendula, rose and jasmine), the herb jar is comfrey (great for making ointments) and the little envelope contains beads for a pagan mala. I am not sure what the beads are made from, not plastic, seems like stone or glass. Too tiny for me and my old eyes, but I will make a mala with some larger beads I have and use the tassel. The jasmine and neroli soy candle and the jasmine body oil smell divine! Also, included an empty bottle for making your own potions!  Moonstone pillar and a sunstone! The pillar is a good size, about 4.5 inches and I had been wanting a moonstone pillar for months! I love sunstone too!  The new se
